Warranty period

• Private customers (consumers): 2 years from delivery, for new products (legal guarantee of conformity, Articles 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code).
• Businesses and professionals (purchases with a VAT number): 1 year from delivery, for new products (warranty against defects, Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code; the defect must be reported within 8 days of its discovery).
• Used products (for example used tyres): for consumers the warranty is 1 year from delivery; the state of wear stated on the product page forms part of the description and is not a defect.

What is covered

The warranty covers lack of conformity, i.e. cases where the product does not match its description or has a manufacturing defect. For consumers, in the event of a defect, the product will be brought into conformity free of charge by repair or replacement or, where this is not possible, a price reduction or termination of the contract will apply.

What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear of consumable components (for example tyres, chains, rear sprockets, front sprockets, spark plugs, brake pads).
• Damage caused by accidents, impacts, improper use, over-revving, or incorrect carburation or fuel mixture.
• Incorrect fitting, or modifications or repairs not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• Damage to electronic products caused by liquids, drops or weather exposure.

How to request assistance

Write to info@kartcommerce.com stating your order number, the product code, a description of the problem and some photos or a video. We will tell you how to proceed. If the defect is confirmed, the shipping costs for repair or replacement are borne by us.

Manufacturer's warranty

Some brands offer their own commercial warranty, which is in addition to the legal guarantee and does not replace it. Its terms are set out in the product documentation.
